(CNN Español) –– El Gobierno de Nicaragua anunció este jueves que permitirá que 2.200 prisioneros comunes con sentencia firme vivan en régimen de convivencia familiar en sus casas. Así lo anunció Rosario Murillo, vicepresidenta del país y esposa del presidente Daniel Ortega.Murillo hizo el anuncio a través de un mensaje difundido en los canales oficiales del Gobierno nicaragüense: “2.200 personas, entre varones y mujeres, van a recibir la próxima semana, el 21 de diciembre, beneficios legales de convivencia familiar”, señaló.Los prisioneros serán liberados de la cárcel “La Modelo”, a unos 23 kilómetros al noreste del centro de Managua, y de otros siete centros penitenciarios del país.La vicepresidenta no precisó el número exacto de hombres y mujeres que serían beneficiados y, si bien CNN ha intentado ponerse en contacto con el Gobierno nicaragüense vía telefónica, no ha recibido respuesta que ayude a aclarar la cifra.El Gobierno nicaragüense suele otorgar este beneficio a reos comun...Arvada skier inducted into National Adaptive Sports Hall of Fame

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Matthew Perry died from the acute effects of the anesthetic ketamine, according to the results of an autopsy on the 54-year-old “Friends” actor released Friday.The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner said in the autopsy report that Perry also drowned in “the heated end of pool,” but that it was a secondary factor in his Oct. 28 death, deemed an accident.The report says coronary artery disease and buprenorphine, which is used to treat opioid use disorder, also contributed.Perry was declared dead after being found unresponsive at his home in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. The family of the National Grid worker killed in last week’s deadly crash in Waltham is continuing to mourn ahead of their loved one’s funeral on Saturday. Roderick Jackson, 36, was killed last Wednesday along with Waltham Police Officer Paul Tracey when a man in a pickup truck allegedly struck them at a worksite on Totten Pond Road. (CNN) — Friends star Matthew Perry died as a result of “acute effects of ketamine” and subsequent drowning, an autopsy report shows.The report, released Friday by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office, shows Perry’s blood tested positive for ketamine which is known to treat depression and anxiety.“At the high levels of ketamine found in his postmortem blood specimens, the main lethal effects would be from both cardiovascular overstimulation and respiratory depression,” the report states.Perry was found floating face down in the pool of his Malibu home in October.
