JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Brian Barnett, the Johnstown funeral home director who mishandled human remains will now spend two to seven years in prison. Barnett was the previous owner and director of the Ehle-Barnett Funeral Home. He pleaded guilty, in March, to grand larceny, concealment of a human corpse, improper burial, scheme to defraud and operating a funeral firm without a funeral firm to be registered. OAK HILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival will be returning to Oak Hill. The first day of performances is scheduled for July 13. The scammer is reportedly telling others that they are involved in a "legal matter" in an attempt to get them to talk. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A University City man is in custody for allegedly attacking a police officer with a pole when the officer intervened in a fight between the man and his son.According to a report filed by the Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department, the incident occurred on June 17 at a residence on Hoyt Drive. The responding officer was notified of an argument and physical altercation involving a father and son.When the officer arrived, police claim he attempted to break up the fight and deployed his Taser on the father twice, but that did not work. Three Pronounced Dead after Stolen Car Collision near Winning WayLAS VEGAS, NV (June 26, 2023) – Saturday, Adrian Hyder, Darian Torrence and one other were killed in a fiery car accident on Carey Avenue.Police responded to the scene around 10:27 p.m., near Winning Way on June 10th.Per reports, the driver of a 2021 Kia Forte was traveling east at a high rate of speed on Carey Avenue. There, the Kia struck a mid 2000s Nissan Titan pickup-truck that was turning onto Carey Avenue.Upon impact, the Nissan caught fire, causing fatal injuries to its driver. Truck Collision near Broome Road Left One HospitalizedBAKERSFIELD, CA (June 26, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a traffic accident involving two semi-truck on Highway 58 left at least one person injured.Fire personnel responded to the collision around 12:30 p.m. along Highway 58, just east of Broome Road.Upon arrival, firefighters located one of the drivers suffering from moderate injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment.According to the investigators, a semi-truck carrying produce collided with a semi-truck hauling wine parked on the highway shoulder.Consequently, the impact caused one of the vehicles to catch on fire.
