Time revealed for 2023 Mizzou-KU Border War LAWRENCE, Kan. — The 2023 edition of the Border War has been officially set. Kansas will host Missouri in the third game of the men's basketball rivalry series since it was revived in 2021 after conference realignment delayed the yearly matchup for almost a decade. This season's HyVee Hoops Border Showdown will be on Saturday, December 9 at 4:15 p.m. CT on ESPN. KU has won the last two games easily, winning 95-67 in Columbia last season and 102-65 in 2021 in Lawrence. San Jose: Police arrest man on suspicion of illegal gun possession one month after road-rage incident SAN JOSE — Authorities said they found more than a dozen firearms, including unregistered guns, at the home of a man legally barred from possessing guns nearly a month after an alleged road-rage incident.The man was arrested last week, more than a month after he allegedly flashed a semi-automatic handgun at another man from his vehicle, police said.The initial incident took place in the area of Senter and Umbarger Roads on Aug. 15. The victim, who claimed that the 31-year-old man brandished a gun toward him, reported the incident to police.Police said in a news release Wednesday that officers identified the man through investigation and discovered that he was not legally allowed to possess firearms.
